INU Editions Ltd. was founded in 1995 with the objective of providing business editorial management activities for INU - Italian National Institute for Urban Planning. Present throughout the country thanks to the nineteen regional sections, eighty-five libraries and its subscription agents, the company covers all fields related to "urban planning knowledge" with its vast range of activities . Its periodic magazines, Urbanistica and Urbanistica Informazioni, and its monographs collections, Urbanistica Quaderni and Urbanistica Dossier, address the main themes of urbanistic discipline innovation : environmental issues, urban economy, citizens participation in planning and communication, urban renewal & re-qualification, municipal and wide area planning, the international debate, and much more. The proceedings of many INU conferences and seminars, reviews of regional planning and European urban practices, also offer a broad and comprehensive view of "doing" in project planning. All that also lies as a systematic synthesis in the biennial report from the territory (Rapporto dal Territorio), an essential tool for those who want to be informed of the practices implemented in Italy, in the related government processes, but also for those with specific tasks in the field, teaching, academic or professional public or private bodies, with political leadership and legislative roles, at regional or national level. The INU Edizioni offers scenario is completed by two recent multimedia products: the INU Manuals, pocket-sized technical manuals accompanied by documents on cd-rom, and Collana Digitale, a series of cd-roms that, through images, maps and drawings, describe and document places/land planning activities, projects and researches.
